Craft Weekends & Open Workshops

Experience traditional crafts and craftsmen at work during the month of May in Den Gamle By.
Every weekend and throughout the Ascension Day holiday, there’ll be experiences and activities for all ages in the marquee at the Festival Grounds – from a Blacksmithing Festival to demonstrations of window restoration, horse shoeing, miniature clay house buidling for children, and food tasting with heritage ingredients.
On weekdays, building sites and workshops will be open, and Den Gamle By’s craftspeople will demonstrate how they work with traditional trades and techniques.
